Chad Le Clos is a South African swimmer and Olympic Champion who just has been photographed by South African Andrew Mc Gibbon.

Sascha has been a photographer for over 19 years after studying at the Lette Verein, Berlin. Based in Düsseldorf, he has travelled around the world shooting corporate and advertising photography. He has worked on annual reports, brochures, calendars and image libraries. We are happy that Sascha decided to join Periscope and welcome you all to check out his work.

Christel Bangsgaard is a Danish born fashion and beauty photographer currently based in Berlin. Her work on beauty shows her unique eye for colours and details, with beautiful and glamourous close-ups.

Among other awards she came 2nd at the International Photography Award 2011 in Advertising Beauty Pro.

We are very excited to have her on board, so take a look at her work.

The Campaign Magazine UK named Trevor Ray Hart the second most important advertising photographer in the world in 2011, with David LaChapelle being first and Nadav Kander coming in at tenth place.

Daniel Sommer has photographed at the behest of Melville Brand Design the new Camelbak KnowH20w Campaign. They produced four different ads in Munich.

In december Oscar Pistorius invited us and photographer Jan Rasmus Voss to his home training ground in Pretoria (South Africa), for an intimate and very stylish photo shooting.

Oskar is a South African sprint runner. Known as the “Blade Runner” and “the fastest man on no legs”, Pistorius, who has a double amputation, is the world record holder in the 100, 200 and 400 metres (sport class T44) events.

The final images are not released yet, but we wanted to give you a little peek from the shooting.

December’s Focused took place at the Blood Orange Studios in Lichtenberg. Thanks to all who made the effort in the terrible weather to come and have a pre-Christmas party.  Photos to follow soon.

Guido Castagnoli shot the new Nava brand campaign for the street 2.0 bag collection.

Patrick Curtet has recently finished shooting Peugeot’s new diesel / electric hybrid vehicle the HX1. As a concept at this stage, it is unsure whether the HX1 will make it to production or not, however it is an interesting guide as to the direction Peugeot intends to go in terms of styling and technology.

Daniel Sommer was chosen by Fit for Fun magazine to spend the weekend in the Bayrischzell, the mountainous region bordering Austria, where he captured a series of portraits of people enjoying the wide variety of activities available.
